Carrick Diamonds Diamond joins Greaghwillan Stud stallion roster for 2021

We are delighted to announce that Carrick Diamonds Diamond will be joining our stallion roster at Greaghwillan Stud for the 2021 stud season. Born 2018, this homebred 2 year old colt is one we are already very excited about! With 72% Thoroughbred blood, his full Traditional Irish pedigree needs little introduction. He is by the legendary 5* rated Carrick Diamond Lad and is out of the thoroughbred dam, Musical Trix, by Executive Perk. Like his father, this horse is a super mover with great elevation and a temperament to die for. Available to view with full set of clean x-rays and veterinary certificate. YouTube video:

Lovely video of Carrick Diamond Lad’s first foal born in Kenya, a filly out of a Boerperd mare. Delighted for you Venetia Philipps. Would love to pay a visit someday, however it doesn’t look like you need any advice as it seems you’ve already made a great start at producing the best Irish Sport Horses in East Africa!

“Hi Tom- Thank you for making this possible- a Carrick Diamond Lad filly arrived on Sunday out of a Boerperd mare- really hope over the next few years we might be able to get you out here to kenya and you can give us some advice on how to breed the best Irish sport horses for East Africa!”

“Diamond Ructions was a complete star this weekend in the CIC4S at Bramham. He did probably his best test to date at this level with just one green change to score 31.4. He jumped his socks of SJ not touching a pole and then flew round the XC just two seconds over the time feeling so bold and confident to finish 14 out of 86 in a high class field. I Can’t believe how much this horse has come on this year. He is really beginning to fell like a top class horse in all three phases”
