Chunkie as he’s know in the stable, actually belongs to Ludwig’s sister, Ellen. She has successfully been campaigning Chunkie all the way up to 4* and they entered their first Burghley in 2015 but has (very kindly) let her older brother campaign him for Rio this year. Chunkie will go a couple of 3* to gain his Olympic qualifiers and you’ll see him at Burnham Market, Ballendenisk and Saumur to start with.

Ellen Svennerstal and Southway (by Carrick Diamond Lad) will be representing Sweden at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup in Boekolo, Netherlands.
Ellen and her charming chestnut Southway ISH (Carrick Diamond Lad – Horace) have been competing at some serious events since they upgraded themselves to the three star level at Bramham International Horse Trials two years ago.
This year the combination finished 6th at the CIC3* Burnham Market, UK in April 2015.
We wish the pair the best of luck!
